Είναι Πανεπιστημιακός στον τομέα της Κοινωνιολογίας, συγγραφέας και δικηγόρος Αθηνών. Ήταν Επίκουρος Καθηγητής Κοινωνιολογίας στη Φιλοσοφική Σχολή του Παν/μίου Κρήτης από το 1990 μέχρι το 2003. Από το 2004 ήταν Καθηγητής στο Κολλέγιο Ινδιανάπολης Αθηνών μέχρι το 2014 (χρονιά που έκλεισε το Κολλέγιο), όπως και νομικός του σύμβουλος. Στο Κολλέγιο δίδασκε κυρίως Κοινωνιολογία και κλάδους του Αμερικανικού Δικαίου σε σύγκριση μάλιστα με το Ευρωπαϊκό. Στη συνέχεια έγινε μέλος του Διδακτικού Προσωπικού του Παν/μίου Webster, Athens Campus. Έχει διατελέσει Επισκέπτης Καθηγητής στο Τμήμα Κοινωνιολογίας του παν/μίου Lomonosov και επισκέπτης ερευνητής στα Παν/μια Harvard, Yale, Oxford (St Antony College) και LSE. Επίσης συστηματικά ασχολείται με τη Φιλοσοφία, είναι μέλος του ΔΣ της Διεθνούς Επιστημονικής Eταιρείας της Αρχαίας Ελληνικής Φιλοσοφίας και στελεχώνει το Ελεύθερο Μεταπτυχιακό Διεπιστημονικό Σεμινάριο Φιλοσοφικής Ερεύνης με επίτιμο πρόεδρο τον Ακαδημαϊκό Ευάγγελο Μουτσόπουλο.
Πέραν αυτών ασχολείται με τη λογοτεχνία( ποίηση, δοκίμιο, διήγημα, κριτική βιβλίου, λογοτεχνικές μελέτες. Έχει δημοσιεύσει πολλές ποιητικές συλλογές και δοκίμια και είναι μέλος της Εταιρείας Ελλήνων Λογοτεχνών. Έχει γράψει επιστημονικά βιβλία, μελέτες και άρθρα κυρίως στους τομείς της πολιτικής κοινωνιολογίας, της Κοινωνιολογίας της Ανάπτυξης, της Κοινωνιολογικής Θεωρίας, της Κοινωνιολογίας του Δικαίου και της Κοινωνιολογίας της Λογοτεχνίας.

He is an academic in the field of Sociology, writer and lawyer at the Athens Bar Association. He has been Assistant
Professor of Sociology at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Crete from 1990 till 2003. From 2004he has been Associate Professor at the Indianapolis Athens College till 2014 (year in which the college closed). He has been also legal advisor and lawyer of the aforementioned College. At the Indianapolis College he used to teach Sociology and many branches of American law in comparison with the European Law. Further to that he became Faculty member of the Webster University, Athens Campus He has been also visiting Professor at the Dptm of Sociology of Lomonosof University, Visiting Fellow at the Sociology Dptm of Yale University, Research Scholar at the Sociolgy Dptm of London School of Ecomomics, Senior Associate member of St Antony’ College of Oxford University and Visiting scholar at the Minda De Gunzburg Center of European Studies of Harvard University.
Additionally he is dealing systematically with Philosophy, he is member of Hellenic Society Of Philosophy, member of the the Board of Directors of the International Scientific Association of Ancient Greek Philosophy and is a cadre of of theGraduate Interdisciplinary Seminar of Philosophical Research with Emeritus President the Academician Evaggelos Moutsopoulos. He has published scientific books, studies and articles in the field of Political Sociology, Sociology
of Development, Sociological theory Sociology of Law and Sociology of Literature. Apart from the scientific research and works, he is dealing with literature (poetry, essays, short stories, book review, literary studies). He has published many poetical works and essays and is a member of Greek Literary Society.
